IBPS RRB Cut-off 2015 : Officer Scale II - Specialist Officer (CWE RRB IV)


Read about the IBPS RRB Cut-off 2015 - Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer). The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) announced the IBPS RRB cut-off 2015 for the IBPS RRB Exam. The IBPS RRB Exam is conducted to select Officers (Scale I, II & III) and Office Assistants (multipurpose) for Regional Rural Banks. Only those candidates who scored above the cut-off for this Common Written Exam (CWE RRB IV) will be eligible to appear for the IBPS RRB Interview. The IBPS RRB cut-off 2015 is based on the results for the IBPS RRB Exam 2015.

The IBPS RRB Pattern 2015 has 3 phases, the IBPS Prelims exam, the IBPS Mains exam, and the IBPS Interview. The candidates who apply for the post of Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer), will only have to appear for the Mains Exam in the IBPS RRB Recruitment Process 2015. The marks scored by the candidates in this exam will be considered to prepare the list of provisionally allotted candidates - Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer) as well as the final merit list.

IBPS RRB Cut-off 2015 : Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer)

The IBPS RRB Cut-off 2015 for Officer Scale II Specialist Officers includes the cut-off for IT, CA, Law, Treasury, Marketing, and Agricultural Officers. This cut-off includes a category wise sectional cut-off. The maximum marks for each section is 40. The candidates who fall under General and OBC category have a separate sectional cut-off from the cut-off for the candidates who fall under the SC and ST category. The cut-off for PWD (Persons With Disabilities) depends on the category the fall under i.e., General, OBC, SC, or ST.

The IBPS RRB Cut-off 2015 for Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer) for the IBPS RRB Mains Exam consists of a cut-off for each of the sections. The Mains exam pattern for Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer) consists of 6 sections, they are, Professional Knowledge, Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, English/Hindi language, Financial Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation.

Cut-off for Papers on Professional Knowledge: For the papers on Professional Knowledge, the highest cut-off was seen in the paper on CA and the lowest cut-off was seen in the paper on Treasury. For the General and OBC category, the cut-off for CA was 22.00 marks and the cut-off for SC and ST category in the same paper was 19.75 marks. The cut-off for the paper on Treasury for the General and OBC category for 3.75 marks, while the cut-off for the same paper for SC and ST category was 2 marks.

Cut-off for Other Sections of the IBPS RRB Mains Paper: Amongst the other 5 papers, for General and OBC categories, the highest cut-off was noted at 16 marks in the Computer Knowledge section, and the lowest cut-off was noted at 6.25 in the Financial Awareness section. For the SC and ST categories, the highest cut-off was seen in the Computer Knowledge section at 12.50 marks, and the lowest cut-off was 4 marks in the sections on Financial Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation. Total Weighted Score for Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer)

Total Weighted Score for Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer) is arrived at by multiplying the candidate’s score in each section with a fixed weightage (Professional Knowledge x 1.00 + Reasoning x 1.00 + Computer Knowledge x 0.50 + English Language/ Hindi Language x 0.50 + Quantitative Aptitude  Data Interpretation x 1.25)

IBPS RRB Interview Cut-off 2015 : Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer)  - Interview

The Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer) candidates who have chosen the Professional Knowledge paper on IT will have to appear for the IBPS RRB Interview 2015. The candidates who have attempted a Professional Knowledge paper on any other topic will not need to appear for the Interview. The highest IBPS RRB Interview Cut-off 2015 was seen in the General category at 91 marks, closely followed by OBC at 87.13 marks, followed by SC at 80.13 marks and the lowest cut-off was 70 marks for the ST category.
