IBPS RRB Cut-off 2015 : Officer Scale III (CWE RRB IV)


Read about the IBPS RRB Cut-off 2015 - Officer Scale III. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) announced the IBPS RRB cut-off 2015 for the IBPS RRB Exam. The IBPS RRB Exam is conducted to select Officers (Scale I, II & III) and Office Assistants (multipurpose) for Regional Rural Banks. Only those candidates who score above the cut-off for this Common Written Exam (CWE RRB IV) will be eligible to appear for the IBPS RRB Interview. The IBPS RRB cut-off 2015 is based on the results for the IBPS RRB Exam 2015.

The IBPS RRB Pattern 2015 has 3 phases, the IBPS Prelims exam, the IBPS Mains exam, and the IBPS Interview. The candidates who apply for the post of Officer Scale III will only appear for the Mains Exam in the IBPS RRB Recruitment Process 2015. The marks scored by the candidates in this exam will be considered to prepare the list of provisionally allotted candidates - Officer Scale III as well as the final merit list.

IBPS RRB Cut-off 2015 : Officer Scale III

The IBPS RRB Cut-off 2015 for Officer Scale III includes a category wise sectional cut-off. The maximum marks for each section is 40. There is a separate sectional cut-off for candidates who fall under the General Category and Other Backward Caste (OBC), while Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates have a different sectional cut-off. The cut-offs for Persons With Disabilities (PWD) depend on which category they fall under – General, OBC, SC, or ST.

The IBPS RRB Cut-off 2015 for Officer Scale III for the IBPS RRB Mains Exam consists of a cut-off for each of the sections. The Mains pattern for Officer Scale III consists of 5 sections, they are, Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, Financial Awareness, English/Hindi language, and Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation.

Cut-off for Papers on Languages: The cut-off for Hindi was higher than the cut-off for English for both the categories. The cut-off for General and OBC in Hindi was 14 marks, while the cut-off for the same categories in English was 12.25 marks. The cut-off for SC and ST candidates in Hindi was 11 marks, while the cut-off for English for the same category was 8.25 marks.

Cut-off for Papers on Other sections: For the General and OBC category, the highest cut-off was 12.25 marks for the section on Computer Knowledge and the lowest cut-off was 4.75 marks in the sections on Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation. The cut-offs for SC and ST was the highest at 9.25 marks in the section of Computer Knowledge and was the lowest in the section on Reasoning at 2.50 marks.

Total Weighted Score for Officer Scale III is arrived at by multiplying the candidate’s score in each section with a fixed weightage (Reasoning x 1.25 + Computer Knowledge x 0.50 + Financial Awareness x 1.00 + English Language/ Hindi Language x 1.00 + Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation x 1.25)
